RJ Academy presents....

We tutor using Station-based learning (SBL),  allowing students to rotate through stations, learning in collaborative groups adaptable to each student's individual needs. Our active format of learning has different representations of student success and student understanding of the concept. We are all about meeting students where they are academically. 

RJA’s Crime Scene Academy aims to provide students with opportunities to examine crime scenes and embody a forensic scientist! Our 6-12 program provides the student with real-life crime scene tools and scenarios to conduct scientific experiments to solve the crime scene mystery!  

RJA’s Laboratory Camp aims to practice and execute NYS regents-based concepts by exploring biology and environmental science labs and experiments in our science laboratory!

RJA’s Choosing Math Careers Summer Program aims to provide students with math lessons that connect to a mathematical job and give the students insights into math careers. Our PK-8 program provides the student with the opportunity to embody the job and role of the mathematical career in solving complex real-world problems. 

RJA’s  Maths Lit Intervention Program is centered around differentiated learning, building numbers, and literary understanding. Our PK-5 program provides students with multiple entry points to student proficiency and student mastery of the standard or concept. Math Lit focuses on numeracy,  literacy,  and going back and meeting students where they are. 

RJA’s Creating Positive Math Identities aims to provide students with multiple learning strategies and techniques to make sense of complex mathematics. Our PK-8 program will develop self-awareness for their learning and connect their insights to the learning process. 

RJA’s Making Sense of Mathematics aims to provide students with multiple learning strategies and techniques to make sense of complex mathematics. Our PK-8 program provides students with the ability to make sense of mathematics using diagrams, representations, symbols, concept maps, and text annotations.
